Hayes Valley

Explore The Latest Food Trends

Hungry for an off-the-beaten path San Francisco gourmet food experience? Join us as we explore one of the city’s trendy and exciting new neighborhoods, Hayes Valley. We will share what’s hot in the San Francisco food scene as we visit specialty shops and restaurants that are proud of their commitment to the very best local and sustainable ingredients. As you compare gourmet cheeses, participate in a craft beer tasting and indulge your sweet tooth, you’ll gain an appreciation for a distinct neighborhood that most tourists never see.

We’ll stroll past elegant Victorians, food trucks and street art as you learn about the history of Hayes Valley. You’ll taste and chat with other food-loving guests, and leave the tour with a host of restaurant recommendations for your next trip to Hayes Valley.

Why Gourmet Walks?

Our Difference

“I LOVE Gourmet Walks! This is my second time participating in a Gourmet Food tour. Both have been private events for working teams at my job and they were both excellent! I highly recommend this for your next team outing. The booking was extremely smooth and they were very flexible. Ahmet responded very quickly to all my questions and requests and made the whole process so easy. Our guide Nicole was fabulous and such a joy to have a guide. You can tell she loves her job and loves to share information about food and Hayes Valley. The tour itself is filled with delicious food, a beautiful walk around Hayes valley, and a great way to spend an afternoon. Can't recommend this company enough!!”

“We got a gift card for Gourmet Walks and finally used it last weekend. We did the Hayes Valley tour and lucked out with perfect weather. Our guide Maria Antonia was attentive and very knowledgeable about the area. We had fun sampling local cheeses, yummy falafel, ice cream and more. We have always loved Hayes Valley and it was fun discovering new places.”
