Why Gourmet Walks?

Our Difference

“After receiving a food tour recommendation from a colleague about Gourmet Walks, my partner and I signed ourselves up for an afternoon chocolate tour. As locals, we weren't expecting to experience many new chocolate sites and tastes, but we were flabbergasted by how much we saw and learned about chocolate in the distance between the Ferry Building and Union Square. We are thankful to have been assigned to Marie as our tour guide, as she made this chocolate experience a delight! Her enthusiasm and knowledge for chocolate makes you smile from ear to ear and you come out of the tour, not only full of chocolate, but also with a better sense of the SF chocolate scene.”

“Marie was an amazing guide! Not only do you try different forms of chocolate (i.e. cupcake, cookie, bar, truffle, and liquid) but she gives you the history and significance that chocolate has in America and San Francisco. My husband and I had a wonderful time, and we did this tour on his birthday! Make sure you have an open mind and palette because you will sample chocolate with a high cocoa content. I would compare it to a wine tasting because you experience different flavors and notes!”
